School has begun and frankly we are as contained as we possibly could be.
We ended our summer with a bang at Lindsey and Andre's wedding. It was a blast.
Thanks guys letting us take part in the festivities!
Alby is in 1st grade and is doing great! He plays baseball once a week at a facility called Frozen Ropes, it is a cool indoor center. He does gymnastics (excercising with flair) at Ehryn's gym. Busy with friends and trying to be good!
Ehryn is in 4th grade. As we were told it is a big adjustment as far as work load and changing classes. But she does very well and balances her time beautifully. She is in the gym 19 hours a week and will probably compete at level 6 again this year. She could advance to level 7 which is cool but the skills are much more difficult so in due time. No need to rush back flips on a balance beam - thanks. She is in her 5th year of scouts (I am not the officially leader - but I do assist). It will be a good year without that mother/ daughter tangles happening.
As always I am busy with PTA stuff! I plan family programs, produce the school talent show, coordinate informational nights and other duties! It is fun but busy. I am babysitting a 10 month old baby during the week, full 40-45 hours. I also enrolled in an early childhood education class. It is pretty good - I wish I took it before my kids were born!
Big Allen is busy. Right now is the busy season. He also is taking his first masters class for his MBA. Thankfully the university that he is attending has been great, they absorbed several masters classes due to his extensive coursework already completed from his other degrees.
The house is always a work in progress?? We are finishing the overhead room in the garage and will be completing the renovations on the 1st floor bathroom this fall/winter.
Other than that - just the normal running around like crazy.
Talk to you - Kacey
